BANCO CASINO MASTERS 100,000€ GTD: PAVOL SZETEI BECOME THE THIRTEENTH MASTERS CHAMPION FOR 17,780€!

Every joy once must end including the six-day one, called Banco Casino Masters, which carries a guarantee of one hundred thousand Euros, ended its journey with yesterday's final day. Out of a total of 643 entries, sixteen most successful players had made it through to final day. Although the guarantee was not broken, the winner was awarded with a 20,000€ prize and a ticket to the next Masters.

On the final day, sixteen adepts for the thirteenth title of the Banco Casino Masters started, but only one of them had the opportunity to climb up to pedestal of the Masters. Seven players had to be satisfied with the semi-final participation, including Andrej Cintula (16th), Marek Chlebana (15th), Lea (14th), Ivan Herz (13th), Juhász Titanilla (12th), Andres Marquez ( 11th) and Dino Marsani who finished right in front of the gates of the final table, taking home 1,229€ for his performance.

After the elimination, the players moved to the final table, where it looked like this before the start:

The first eliminated was Robert Pál, known under the nickname Metaxa, when he ran with jacks into Fričos aces. Metaxa took home 1,418€ for ninth place. Behind him, Andrej Imrich was ordered for 1,701€, followed by the chip leader at the start of the final day, Martin Frič, who took home 2,646€ from Banco Casino.

Sixth place went to the most successful player from Hungary, Timea Kovesi, who got into the Banco Casino Masters thanks to a Facebook competition for a discounted entry. Timea won 3,592€ for only 80€ entry fee!

The fifth place was taken by Štefan Bugár for 4,820€ and the fourth place with a reward of 6,227€ went to Marek Varga. Subsequently, the remaining three stopped the tournament clock and started a possible deal discussion started. Rhys Thorpe introduced them to the numbers, but they did not agree on them and the game continued.

Third place went to Slovak Series Of Poker Main Event champion Balász Galotti, who received 8,622€ for his performance. His threes could not beat Pavel Szetei's nines and that meant a game over for the last foreign player in the Masters.

Pavol Szetei and Martin Kubošek fought their way into the heads-up. Kubošek pulled at the beginning of the heads-up for the shorter end in a ratio of 1: 2. The actors of the heads-up after a short game agreed gentlemanly on the deal in equal parts and overtime for 3,200€. After a few minutes of play, Pavol Szetei was looking forward to the victory, taking home the famous 17,780€ and a ticket to the next Banco Casino Masters. Congratulations!
