The fourth edition of the Slovak Poker Open at Banco Bratislava has surpassed its guarantee at the last moment. Thanks to the poker community and a total of 1,211 registrations, the field has been reduced to the final 16 players, who will battle today for the champion’s title and a top prize of €40,585. Spring 2026 in Banco Bratislava will belong to international poker. Over the course of the next three months, Slovakia’s capital will host four major international poker festivals, bringing huge guarantees, strong international player fields, and the kind of atmosphere normally reserved for the biggest poker events in Europe. Yesterday, we met the champions of the NM Main Event, which was won by WSOP champion Espen Jorstad, while the highly anticipated Poker North Masters concluded with a victory by Ioannis Nanos from Greece, who turned €400 into €36,330. Banco continues its action, and you can soon look forward to the Slovak Poker Open with a €300,000 GTD!
Only 24 players have secured their seats in Sunday’s final day of the Poker North Masters, where a €300,000 guaranteed prize pool will be up for grabs. However, before today’s final two qualifying flights, there is still €158,000 missing from the prize pool, creating an excellent value opportunity for players looking to take their shot.
A true Norwegian poker atmosphere has taken over Bratislava, especially inside Banco Bratislava, where the Norwegian Poker Championships 2026 are currently underway.
