August at Banco Casino offers a wide range of tournaments and especially more than 600,000€ will be distributed in the pockets of poker players during the last month of summer. Yesterday, a huge one-day event called Banco Casino FIFTY GRAND took place at Banco Casino Bratislava, where the Bratislava Banco guaranteed a massive 50,000€ with an entrance fee 100€. From the afternoon, before the opening of the registration, poker players met in the casino to secure their "seat". The dynamic event with quality poker was demonstrated by the participants and together they created a fantastic atmosphere.

The initial phase was played in a more open style, as the first twelve levels players could reach for re-entry, or take advantage of late registration and participate in the later blinds. After the initial phase, the organizer of Banco Casino announced the official numbers, showing 423 entries, which together with 367 add-ons almost broke the guarantee. Very tightly guarantee withstood the pressure of a large mass of players. The winner was waiting for a reward of 9,231€ and a ticket to the upcoming Masters, which will start from next Wednesday!

The long and demanding fight for the Fifty Grand trophy ended in a 4-way or more precisely 3-way deal. First, the last four players agreed on a deal in equal parts for 5,000€ and an overtime of 1,317€ with a trophy. After Lukáš Volník dropped out of the game, the remaining three also shared the rest, taking 439€ each, and in the ensuing overtime, Hungarian player Wolf István won 5,439€, a ticket to next week’s 100,000€ Banco Casino Masters GTD and a Fifty Grand trophy!
