SSOP HIGHROLLER: A VALUABLE TITLE IN THE HANDS OF JOZEF KRAJAN!

During the working day off, the Slovak Series Of Poker festival planned the final day of the event for challenging Highroller players. At the same time Banco Casino launched the largest tournament in the history - the Main Event carrying a 120,000€ guarantee with opening day 1A. A total of 31 players took part in the Highroller with the 530€ entry fee, among whom we had the opportunity to see names such as Jakub Fujerík, Vladimír Bednár, Patrik Ciklamíni, Dominik Desset, Michal Masaryk, Anita Mudrochová, Michael Schmalnauer, Milanko Lakatoš, Andrej Cintula, Andrej Gecler, Andrej Desset, Robinho or Champion from the Opening Event David Selyem. At the end of the registration, 37 entries were lit on the board and the participants fought for the 17,945€ prize pool. The winner of the Highroller will receive a prize of 7,945€ and four players will fight for the paid positions. The second place will be awarded with 4,700€, the third place with 3,100€ and the fourth place receive a prize of 2,200€.

The final day of the Highroller was attended by 18 players who brought promotion chips from the opening day. The Deep tournament brought many interesting spots and the finalists fought with all their strength. Around seven o'clock in the evening, a final table was formed, to which the following line-up fought its way:

  3. Michael Schmalnauer - 1,190,000
  4. Andrej Desset - 1,640,000
  5. Pavič Nikolič Perica - 605,000
  6. Andrej Cintula - 765,000
  7. Michal Masaryk - 850,000
  8. Martin Mulson - 1,150,000
  9. Jozef Krajan - 1,595,000

Martin Mulson left the final line-up first, followed by chip leader from Austria Perica Pavič Nikolič. Michal Proksa took seventh place, followed by home player Andrej Cintula and Tomáš Chmela became the bubble boy of Highroller. From that moment on, everyone who dropped out received a financial reward. Michal "Duklaak" Masaryk was eliminated in the first paid place for 2,200€ and the third place with a reward of 3,100€ went to Austria for Michael Schmalnauer.

Andrej Desset and Jozef Krajan fought their way to the heads-up. It seemed like a clear matter for Desset, but poker can sometimes be cruel. Heads up of these two fighters lasted one hundred minutes,where the poker “Dame Fortune” decided everything. Andrej Desset finished as a runner up Highroller for 4,700€.

Jozef Krajan became the champion of the Slovak Series Of Poker Highroller, leaving 30 players behind and taking home a prize of 7,945€ and the title of champion from Banco Casino Bratislava for his excellent performance!
