SSOP / 6-MAX EVENT: MASSIVE FIELD CONTROLLED BY MATÚŠ SCHNIERER!

Banco Casino Bratislava filled to the edge last night; poker was played everywhere, literally everywhere. The masses of the poker community took part in the attractive 6-max event of the Slovak Series Of Poker and at Banco Casino it looked like in a real poker festival.

Pokers enthusiasts from all over Slovakia, from the west, through the middle, to the far east came for a gold bracelet. Also, foreign players could not miss this opportunity. The tournament part of the casino, the cash game part of the casino and part of the live game “dressed” in the colors of SSOP; an event in which six players at the table. They fought hard, but fairly. A total of 189 players took part in yesterday's tournament; together created an incredible 238 entries, which meant 10,389€ prizepool.

The beautiful participation brought the players a brutal prize pool, where the winner was awarded with a prize of 2,562€ and a gold bracelet, while 24 players could fight their way into the ITM. The high attendance indicated that it would be played for a long time, and these predictions were right. Only in the early morning hours was the final table created, consisting of:

  • 4. Takáš Rudolf - 765,000
  • 5. Dušan Petrík - 380,000

However, only one of the participants in the final table could become the champion; two gentlemen Dušan Petrík and Matúš Schnierer fought their way into the heads-up. Both players agreed on an equal deal of 1,950€ and an overtime of 439€, a title and a bracelet worth of 2,500€. The attractive 6-max format was dominated by Matúš Schnierer, who managed to deal with 188 opponents and won 2,389€ for his victory together with the title of 6-max Slovak Series Of Poker champion!
