SSOP 2017 - OPENING EVENT: LAST YEAR'S RECORD OUTPERFORMED AND BLUELEVIK BECAME THE FIRST CHAMPION!
The poker community saw the largest poker festival in our territory, more precisely the second edition of the Slovak Series Of Poker organized by the largest poker casino Banco Casino Bratislava. The attribute of the biggest in the biggest belongs to the festival, where bracelets are awarded to champions in poker for 2017!
Banco Casino will award the champions six poker bracelets worth of 15,000€ in total, which will subsidize for the Slovak Series Of Poker festival itself. You can win the gold bracelet five more times during the remaining 14 days of full poker, as yesterday we found the first SSOP champion in the Opening Event.
The Opening Event started at seven o'clock in the evening and it was clear to everyone present that a very pleasant prize pool was waiting for those “lucky” one, as the entrance fee was 44€ and the participation was outstanding. For the winner of the inaugural tournament called the Opening Event, in addition to the 2,418€ cash prize, a gold SSOP bracelet and a Banco Casino cardprotector were prepared.
Famous, enormous, huge, or impressive, this is how the participation of the poker community in the opening tournament could be characterized. As many as 188 players visited Banco Casino Bratislava on Monday night to compete in the poker fight. In total, the Opening Event recorded 254 entries, which meant humiliating last year's 209 entries in the tournament. The record participation meant that the prize pool climbed up to almost 10,000€, and only with the entry of 44€!
There was a great atmosphere in the casino, either during the poker game at the tables or outside during breaks, and that is what makes poker stand out and why it is worth playing. With this number of players, up to 26 seats were paid and the winner was awarded a prize of 2,418€. In the early morning hours, the final table of eight players crystallized, as Andrej Zeman and Dodo Mravík fell out in one hand in front of the final table!
Two gentlemen, Bluelevik and Marek Pumpurla made it to the heads up of the Opening Event. Marek made it to the event thanks to the Banco Casino Bratislava Facebook competition. To Slovak delight, Bluelevik managed to bring it to a victorious end and the bracelet stayed at home! Bluelevik became the first SSOP 2017 champion and won a prize of 2,418€ and a gold bracelet, which will forever symbolize a great victory at Banco Casino Bratislava at the largest poker festival Slovak Series Of Poker.
