MAIN EVENT SSOP WAS CONTROLLED BY MIKHAIL FILATOV FOR 41,493€ AND IGOR "DEMON" DOLL HANDLED 6-MAX!

The largest festival in Slovakia met all its champions; all of them won a gold bracelet and considerable financial rewards. Yesterday brought two new champions - the Main Event title and the prize of 41,493 Euros went to Mikhail Filatov and the title of 6-max champion was taken by Igor "Démon" Panák, who won the second SSOP bracelet!

The 200,000€ SSOP Main Event, in which the casino paid more than 34,000€, had a closing day on the program yesterday. We were looking for a champion among 24 finalists. Final day of the ME SSOP 200,000€ GTD started at a rocket pace and after four hours of play the final table was formed. Famous faces such as Róbert Mračko (22nd), Juraj Šošovička (21st), Vlado Bednár (16th), Matúš Kučera (13th), Štefan Bielich (11th) and Michal Gašperan (10th) were also eliminated from the game before the final table was set up..

The final table started and almost after three hours of play we saw the first seat open. Lukáš Záškodný finished on 9th place, followed by Duarte Carlos (8th), who came to Banco Casino from faraway Portugal and took home 5,211 Euros. The trio of eliminated was completed by Jaroslav Pipiška in seventh place leaving with 6,948€.

The sixth place was taken by Pavol Szetei, whose straight draw was not enough for Krchnár's aces and he collected 9,264 Euros for his performance. Another eliminated player was again home player Peter Eliáš, when his KxQx were not enough to Filatov jacks; Peter picked up a prize of 12,352 Euros at the casino box office. Fourth place went to Austria thanks to Kevin Friesenbichler.

Mikhail Filatov, Július Turček, and Marek Krchnár advanced to the TOP 3. The last mentioned had the fewest chips among the trio, and it was he on whom “Black Peter” fell. Marek Krchnár left the tournament with beautiful 21,809 €for his excellent performance!

In the headsup, home player Július Turček and Czech player Mikhail Filatov collided. The “war” lasted several moments, as Turček was at a disadvantage 1 to 3 in the chip ratio. As a runner-up of the Main Event, Július Turček received a reward of 28,757€.

At eight o'clock in the evening, the final tournament of the Slovak Series Of Poker kicked off, the attractive 6-MAX, which attracted a mass poker crew. Familiar faces were trying to win the last bracelet determined only for the SSOP champion. The poker part of Banco Casino Bratislava has filled to the brim and you can experience such an atmosphere in Slovakia only in this casino.

A total of 170 entries were recorded with an entry fee of 60€ + 6€, which meant a beautiful prize pool of 10,200€. For the champion of the last SSOP 2018 tournament there were 2,309 Euros and a gold bracelet worth of 3,000 Euros waiting. 17 players got to paid positions and the first eliminated person was guaranteed with 122 Euros.
