THE INCREDIBLE COMEBACK PRESENTED BY STANO "BUSCHLE" KOLENO AND WON THE ME MEGA POKER SERIES!

Banco Casino Bratislava hosted the final day of the Mega Poker Series on Saturday afternoon. Eight players, 74 big blinds, five paid positions and a prize pool of 10,045€ for the winner foreshadowed the final day's marathon.

If you have not watched the poker performances of the final actors, where three of our representatives defended the honor of the home scene, then you can watch the entire final table from the record:

Before the start of the final table, chipcount looked as followed:

  • Ruthard Philipp - 569 500
  • Arce - Francisco - 446 500
  • Papai Laszlo - 413 000
  • Allmrodt Michael - 385 500
  • Koleno Stanislav - 365 500
  • Michal Záborský - 328 500
  • Tavoularis Georgios-Angelos - 280 000
  • Bartáloš Jozef - 171 500

Michal Záborský became the first to be eliminated, who unhappily ran into Allmrodt's aces with tens. The board was uncompromising to our player and Michal finished at 8th place. Two more players had to leave the tournament without the right for award.

Jozef Bartáloš, the chip leader of the opening day, finished his journey in seventh place. He failed to succeed in the classic coinflip with fives to Laszlo Papais Ax Tx. Ace and ten appeared right on the flop and we went for a bubble.

Stano Koleno and his horses ended the almost three-hour fight for the "last" unpaid place. Tavoularis paid off all three streets Tx 3x 8x Tx 5x with a pair of fours. That was fatal for him and it was over.

The Austrian player Michael Allmrodt was eliminated in fifth place for 1,611€, as well as the fourth place went to Austria for Philip Ruthard. He took home a beautiful 2,325 Euros for his performance.

At that moment, our home player Stano "Buschle" Koleno got to ultrashort, but he managed a beautiful comeback with only one chip. He managed to multiply it from one chip to 25 big blinds in a series of all-inns. This is Buschle we know! Poker's fate allowed him to return to the game, and Buschle grabbed the opportunity and didn't let it go until the very end.

Laszlo Papai took third place after trying to steal the pot all-in with 97 in diamonds. Buschle would not be able to find two AK diamond cards either. The blank board meant a reward of 3,375€ for the Hungarian player.

The remaining two gentlemen, Koleno and Arce, agreed on a deal for the Spanish Arce 6,800€ and Koleno 7,500€. A thousand euros were played in overtime and Stanislav "Buschle" Knee emerged victorious from this fight. Congratulations to Buschle for winning, confirming that if you have even one chip, you can win the whole tournament!
