Banco Casino Masters #47 Kicks Off 2027 in Style: €250,000 Main Event for Just €170!
A new year, a new poker season – and one of Banco Bratislava’s most iconic events is ready to get things started. Banco Casino Masters returns for its 47th edition from January 11–18, opening the 2027 tournament season with a €250,000 Main Event for an unchanged buy-in of just €170. Players can once again look forward to the HALF PRICE Day 1A, chipleader bonuses, double and triple qualification bonuses, PLO Masters, the SpadePoker Challenger and a €20,000 High Roller.
The 2027 poker season starts with the legendary Masters
There could hardly be a better way to open the new poker season at Banco Bratislava. On January 11, 2027, the 47th edition of Banco Casino Masters gets underway, bringing eight days of poker, a massive prize pool, an affordable buy-in and plenty of extra bonuses.
Banco Casino Masters is one of the longest-running regular tournaments on the Slovak poker scene. Its history dates back to 2016, and over the years the event has already awarded more than €6,000,000 in prize money.
The first Masters of 2027 will continue with its proven format. The Main Event will once again feature €250,000 with the traditional buy-in of just €170.
From January 11–18, however, it will not be all about the Main Event. Banco Bratislava will host a complete festival week featuring PLO Masters, the SpadePoker Challenger and a €20,000 High Roller.

HALF PRICE Day 1A – take your first shot at €250,000 for just €85
The Banco Casino Masters Main Event will kick off with the popular HALF PRICE Day 1A, giving players the opportunity to qualify for half the regular buy-in.
Entry to the opening flight will cost just €85.
The reduced buy-in does not change the basic format of the flight – 10% of the field will advance, with players starting with a 40,000-chip stack.
Day 1A therefore offers the perfect opportunity to begin the hunt for the first Masters title of 2027 at half the standard entry price.

Chipleader bonuses – an extra €2,600 in each of Days 1B, 1C and 1D
Qualifying for the next stage will not be the only motivation. Days 1B, 1C and 1D will once again feature a separate €2,600 chipleader bonus in each flight.
The top three stacks from each flight will receive:
- 1st in chips – €1,500
- 2nd in chips – €750
- 3rd in chips – €350
Players will therefore be fighting for more than just qualification. Building a big stack can bring a significant cash reward even before the Main Event reaches its main payout stages.
Double qualification for €750, triple qualification for €2,000
Another popular Masters feature returns in the form of qualification bonuses for players who successfully advance from multiple starting flights.
A double qualification will earn the player a €750 cash bonus, while successfully qualifying three times will be rewarded with a €2,000 triple qualification bonus.
This gives players several opportunities to extract even more value from the festival. The HALF PRICE Day 1A, chipleader bonuses and double and triple qualification bonuses add another dimension to the individual flights before the Main Event reaches its decisive stages.
PLO Masters: €15,000 Main Event and plenty of Omaha action
The first major festival of the year will not be all about No-Limit Hold'em. Running alongside Banco Casino Masters will be PLO Masters, bringing another strong dose of Pot-Limit Omaha action to Bratislava.
The highlight of the PLO schedule will be the €15,000 PLO Masters Main Event with a €225 + €25 buy-in.
Combining Banco Casino Masters with PLO Masters creates a packed festival schedule offering plenty of action for both NLH and Omaha players throughout the week.
€20,000 High Roller and a final table in front of the cameras
The festival schedule will also feature the SpadePoker Challenger, while players looking for higher buy-ins will have another major tournament to target.
The €20,000 High Roller comes with a €550 buy-in, and its closing stages will once again receive special coverage.
The final 9 players will take their seats in front of the cameras, with the battle for the biggest prizes available to watch via livestream.

Eight days of poker will open the 2027 season at Banco Bratislava
From January 11–18, 2027, Banco Bratislava will host its first major poker festival of the new year. And Banco Casino Masters has everything needed to kick off the season in style – a €250,000 Main Event, an affordable €170 buy-in, thousands of euros in extra bonuses, PLO Masters, the High Roller and additional side events.
As always, there will also be plenty of cash game action throughout the festival, while the Main Event final day will be livestreamed, allowing poker fans to follow the action as the next champion is crowned.
At the end of eight days of poker, one player will write their name into the history books as the 47th Banco Casino Masters champion – and the first Masters winner of 2027.
